About National Space Day 2024
India Commemorates its First National Space Day on August 23,2024 . Celebrating the Chandrayaan-3 Missions Successful Moon Landing anniversary. The Event highlights India's Progress in Space exploration,Featuring grand celebrations , educational initiatives and emphasizing societal benifits.
India became the fourth Country to land on the Moon and the first to reach its southern polar region on August 23, 2023. To honour this landmark achievement ,hon'ble Prime ministerShri Narendra Modi announced August 23 as "National Space Day".
